Moratorium on membership fees. Join for free.
The committee have decided that, in common with many other organisations, there will be a 12 month moratorium on membership fees for 2022. From 1 January; Existing memberships will be renewed without charge. New members will be able to join
Heath Lake, Plan to clean up
Heath lake is much appreciated by nature lovers in Crowthorne. However, it’s status as a site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) is under pressure due to the cumulative impact of poor water quality and sediment build up. Work is needed
Planning During COVID
Both Bracknell Forest and Wokingham Borough Councils have set up systems for virtual meetings so that the planning committees can continue to function by holding virtual meetings during the COVID restrictions. Further information can be found here.
