Wokingham Local Plan Consultation

Wokingham Borough Council has launched a consultation on the latest iteration of their draft local plan. The key element of this plan is a new Garden Town at Grazeley with 15,000 homes , a new health hub, two new secondary schools and seven new primary schools.  The council argues that by putting all the required new homes in one location they are able to plan the necessary supporting infrastructure and resist speculative developments in more unsuitable locations across the borough.  The consultation is open until 20 March 2020 and can be accessed at www.wokingham.gov.uk/consultations
